Important: if you have a previous version already installed in TradeStation, then you must follow the instructions below to close MagicDots workspaces  PRIOR to installing the new version.

Closing MagicDots workspaces.

To close MagicDots workspace:

• Select a workspace with the MagicDots ShowMe or Strategy applied.

• Select File:Close Workspace.

• Repeat above steps for all workspaces with MagicDots ShowMe or Strategy applied.

Downloading MagicDots into TradeStation.

 
Click on the Download button on the download page.

On the File Download dialog, click the Open button.


This will start TradeStation (if it isn't already running) and begin importing the MagicDots studies. Select Next.

Then select Finish and follow the remaining prompts.

MagicDots is now imported into TradeStation and ready to be inserted to a chart.

Reopening MagicDots workspaces.

To reopen any previously closed  MagicDots workspace:

• Select File:Open Workspace.

• Select the desired workspace from the list of workspaces and click Open.

• Repeat above steps for all workspaces with MagicDots ShowMe or Strategy applied.
